Corrosion is a huge problem in all Southeast Texas homes and especially those at the beach or bay side of Galveston island.
Metal rust is a continuous challenge in this humid environment, but the rate of oxidation can be reduced through smart-construction retrofits, proper paint and anti-corrosion coatings, and using alternative materials. Tracy Calvert's team can not only install these measures, we also do a lot of rust cleanup involving sanding, cleaning, washing, and refurbishing of metal parts in Galveston homes. In many cases, we can get them looking like new.

- Extract stripped, broken, and rusted screws which will no longer turn
- Sand and treat rusty bolts with corrosion inhibitor and protective coatings
- Install plastic caps and covers to reduce exposure to sea salt and humidity.
- Build wooden pipe chases and enclosures to shield metal components
- Upgrade of galvanized metal to stainless steel components
- Conversion of metal products to plastic where appropriate
